I graduated from Cornell University’s College of Architecture in 1960, and had a professional career in architecture for nearly 50 years, working in Stockholm, Sweden, Boston ,Cambridge and 22 years as one of DIGITAL’s corporate architects.
I recently “re-discovered” the joy of watercolor painting, and this Website represents some of my work done in the past ten years. It should come as no surprise, that my favorite themes are buildings, cityscapes, landscapes, and all things Swedish.
I want to give specials thanks to four watercolor artists/instructors who have given me so much inspiration, guidance and encouragement the past 10 years. Cynthia Durost from Acton, Cecila Sharma from Sudbury (for many years my next door neighbor) , my muse Tom Sutherland from Melrose (www.tomsutherlandart.com) and Sandy Wilensky from Sudbury Every class and workshop has been a learning experience, not only from each instructor, but also from my fellow artists in each class.
Thank you to Gus Kayafas (www.gallerykayafas.com), my close friend and tennis partner, who has been so generous with his time and professional assistance in organizing my shows, and allowing me to use his PalmPress production facilities to matte and frame my watercolors.
